Every person who signs in at a BeckonDesk kiosk is checked against OFAC, UN and EU consolidated sanctions lists plus your own watchlist, in real time, before a badge prints. Strong matches are held for human review. Every check is timestamped and stored for the audit trail. Not a bolt-on; standard on every plan.
How it works
Four things happen the moment someone types their name.
- Name is normalised. Diacritics, transliterations, common short-forms all matched. "Alexei" and "Alexey" are the same person to us.
- Screened against 3 official lists + your own. OFAC SDN, UN Consolidated, EU Consolidated, plus any private watchlist your compliance team maintains.
- Match confidence scored. Weak look-alike matches are surfaced but do not block; strong matches hold the check-in and alert your reviewers.
- Every check is logged. Timestamp, list versions used, match confidence, reviewer decision. Exportable evidence for auditors.
What it covers
The three lists that matter for physical entry.
OFAC SDN
The US Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control Specially Designated Nationals list. Refreshed nightly. Required by US law for any US-facing entity granting physical access to regulated facilities.
UN Consolidated
United Nations Security Council consolidated list of sanctioned individuals and entities. Covers UN member-state obligations under Chapter VII resolutions.
EU Consolidated
European Union consolidated financial sanctions list. Required by EU regulation for organisations operating in or into any EU member state.

Departed contractors flagged for site-safety breaches. Former employees under NDA restrictions. Corporate espionage risks flagged by your security team. Upload a CSV or add names one by one from the admin console. They are screened alongside the sanctions lists on every check-in.
